......there is no County funding for the Marching Band program? All of the expenses are paid by the respective Booster Associations through fundraising & student program fees.

	Marching Band Head Start Camp May 31, June 1 & 2, 2011 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Sprayberry High School
	PIZZA Party on Wednesday from 4 till 5 after Camp!
NOT SURE YOU WANT DO BE IN MARCHING BAND??? All Band students are ENCOURAGED to come to Head Start Camp and and just see what Marching Band is all about...at no financial obligation to mom and dad!

Head Start Camp is for all students who plan on being members of the 2011/2012 Sprayberry Marching Band and Color Guard. This 3-day camp will refresh and reinforce marching techniques to past marching band/guard members and teach the basics to new members.

* School dress code is enforced. No crop tops, tube tops or mini-shorts allowed. If you are not dressed properly you may be sent home to change.

Stevie B's Coupons

Fundraiser

WOW another great way to pay for those Band fees.  All for You.

The Stevie B coupons are for the $8.23 dinner buffet,
including a drink. 
We are selling them for $5.00. 
$4.00 of the $5.00 goes directly to the students Band fee account.  The other $1.00 goes toward the new uniform cost.  Everyone wins. 

You can either purchase the coupons to use or to sell, or use our presale program whereby you can presell the coupons to your family, friends, neighbors, take the form to work, or other events and sell them, collect the money and bring the money to us and exchange it for the coupons to redistribute to those that bought them.  Simple, easy, and you earn $4.00 directly toward your Band fees.

If you are going out for pizza, you might as well do it for "FREE". (The $5.00 cost come directly back to the Band.)

Join us for a fun and easy way to pay your band fees! Rome Braves Concessions Who can work? BAND Students, Moms, Dads, Grandpa and Grandma, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Joe, Older siblings as well.  SIGN UP EARLY DATES FILL UP FAST!!

Okay everyone here is your chance to pay for those Band fees
without putting out any money. 

The updated signup sheet for June is now available.  The link to it is below.  School is out and there are fewer conflicting events that prevent you from working.  It does not take much work to make those monthly payments. 

FACT: Two workers for two nights work almost makes the monthly payment.
Many families have made enough to pay for all of the fees. 

You just need to plan and - DO IT.

Our next adopt-a-mile cleanup will be June 25th at 1PM.  We will need a few adult volunteers as well as students.  If you are interested in helping, please email treasurer@sprayberryband.com & include your name, email, phone #, t-shirt size.  A signup sheet will be on the band bulletin board the last week of school.  And don't forget to check out our signs that were placed at West Oak Parkway & Kincaid Road along Sandy Plains Road.

 This activity can be used for community service hours for other clubs and school so be sure to get that special honor at graduation for meeting the minimum service hours requirement.

This is our chance to give back to the community that supports our school and band every day of the year.  Wouldn't it be great if we were the Band that Cares as well as the Band of Gold?
