1. 28th ANNUAL SOUTHERN INVITATIONAL IS HERE!!

| This year we have 18 bands participating in our Southern Invitational with an expected 1,400+ in attendance. We have bands coming from North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. This will be an exciting day! |
| All Marching Band students are required to work Southern Invitational. Student volunteer sign-up sheets are posted on the band bulletin board. Students who do not sign-up for a position will be assigned one. |
| PARENT VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED - Parents are also needed to help make this day a success. We can not do this without you! There are many volunteer opportunities available that we still need help with including concessions, hospitality, seating, equipment, group meals and more. There is an EASY sign-up form...you can view it by clicking here. |

| SCRIP is a gift card fund raising program. You can easily raise money for your student's band fees by simply shopping with gift cards for common purchases you do every day at your favorite stores, restaurants and service providers. |
| Each scrip gift card you buy earns a rebate. A 50% of the rebate goes into your student's band account and 50% goes into the band's General Fund. |
| SCRIP cards ordered by Tuesday will be available the following Tuesday for pick-up. Some SCRIP ordered online may be printed out for immediate use. |
Every SCRIP merchant has a different rebate rate.
