General Band Camp Information
ARRIVAL - DO NOT BE LATE! Students are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to each day's start time. This gives them time to put away their personal items, get their intsruments ready, socialze, and get onto the field.
PICK UP - Parents, students MUST be picked up no later than 15 minutes after each day's ending time. If you are unable to pick your child up on time, please arrange a carpool with a friend. If you need assistance contact the Chaperone Coordinator, Lisa Buxton, at chaperones@sprayberryband.com.
WHAT TO BRING EACH DAY
1. Sack lunch. Proteins and fruits are good lunch choices.
NO SODAS. Students will not be allowed to leave school
campus for lunch.
2. Hat and/or sunglasses.
3. Sunscreen.
4. 2-quart water jug filled with ICE WATER. Put your name
on the jug. If you do not bring a water jug, you may be
sent home to get one.
5. Your instrument.
6. Your dot book.
WHAT TO WEAR
1. Tennis shoes and socks. NO FLIP FLOPS.
2. Light colored / lightweight shirts.*
3. Shorts or capris.
* School dress code is enforced. No crop tops, tube tops or mini-shorts allowed. If you are not dressed properly you may be sent home to change. |
Dot Drill Book
ALL Marching Band students are required to have a small,
spiral bound notebook and a pencil.
Students will use this “Dot Book” to write down marching routine notes. Notebook size should be approximately that of an index card. Students can put a string or shoelace through the spiral to
hang it from their neck.
This Dot Drill Book is
VERY IMPORTANT
and will be used daily!

Theme Week
Dress Code
During Band Camp week
July 27-31 there is a different
theme each day where students
may dress to match the theme.
Any items worn must NOT interfere
with or inhibit their ability to
march, exercise or participate
in required band instruction.
