It’s time for our first competition! We are very excited to perform “The Phoenix” at Northgate High School and are looking forward to feedback from the fans and judges.
Listed below is the schedule for the day. This is a tentative schedule and may change based on factors that occur before or during the competition. Please bring a lunch to eat after rehearsal and money for food at the concessions stand for dinner!
10:00 AM - Begin Rehearsal (Please Eat a Good Breakfast before you come)
12:15 PM - End Rehearsal. MIB and Students Load Truck. MIB and Students Load
Props into Trailers
12:45 PM - Lunch
1:40 PM - Get Dressed in Uniforms (Under Armour. Jackets Folded. Shakos in Hat Box)
2:00 PM - MIB and Trailers Depart
2:10 PM - Meeting in Bandroom
2:30 PM - Depart for Northgate High School
3:30 PM - MIB Arrives (Approximate)
4:00 PM - Band Arrives
5:30 PM - At Truck Getting Equipment
6:15 PM - Moving to Warm-Up
6:40 PM - Warm-Up
7:25 PM - PERFORM
7:40 PM - Return to Truck, Load
8:15 PM - Return to Stadium. Visit Concession Stand (Bring Money)
9:25 PM - AWARDS
10:15 PM - Load Buses and Depart for Sprayberry
11:45 PM - Return to Sprayberry, unload equipment (unless leaving on the truck for
exhibition), change out of uniforms, clean band room, dismissal
As of right now, we do not know the costs for spectators. We are working to find this information and will distribute it as soon as we have it! Please come out and support the Band of Gold!
